A FINE batting performance from Upwood opener Pieter Hattingh earned his side a nine-wicket victory against Sawtry on Saturday (July 5).
Sawtry made 188-8 in their 45 overs, with opening batsman Alan Hollocks (50) top scoring, while three Upwood bowlers took two wickets.
Upwood wasted little time in knocking off the runs required, doing so with 11 overs to spare. Ian Bonsell took the only wicket for Sawtry.
