Rachel Moss was the golden girl for St Ives Swimming Club at Peterborough when she returned with an impressive haul of four gold medals.

St Ives returned home from a highly successful inaugural Cambridgeshire ASA Intermediate Championships with an outstanding haul of 40 medals, 15 of them gold, but Moss, with five medals, was the star.

The gala was the second of three meets, the first of which was held in June, which make up the new-look annual Cambridgeshire ASA County Championships.

The Saints' medal haul was spread amongst 16 swimmers. Close behind Moss with an impressive haul of four medals apiece were Hannah Milner and Chloe Solomou.

Not far behind the club's top girls came Thomas Davis, Katie Rogers, Hannah Smith, Jack Smith and Sam Taylor, who each won three medals.

Other medal winners on a long day's competition at the Peterborough regional pool were Georgina Butler, Oliver Cook, Andrew Davis, Amy-Grace Enzer, Jazz Powell, Catherine Pritchard, Rhiannon Pritchard and Ellen Ward.Picture: SUPPLIED
