Huntingdon Ladies 1sts were involved in a mid-table thriller against Leadenham 1sts in the East Women’s League last Saturday.
The two teams experienced all four seasons within the space of one Division Three North-West clash at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire.
The wind, rain, sun and hail provided a balmy backdrop for an exciting game in which the Huntingdon side eventually prevailed 4-3 thanks to two goals apiece from Sarah Chadband and Natalie Dobson.
Huntingdon Ladies 2nds were unable to complete a club double as they suffered a 4-0 home defeat at the hands of Cambridge City 4ths in Division Four North-West (South).
