NEW Town manager Steve Young's nightmare start continued as his side lost heavily for the second time in five days.
However, he insisted he can turn the side's season around when he entices former players back to the club.
Young said: "It's going to be a slow process but I'm already receiving calls from players thinking about returning."
The first goal arrived after 15 minutes, quickly followed by another a minute later.
After the break, the goals flew in, with Cogenhoe youngster Steve Diggin completing his hat-trick.
The defeat completed a miserable start to the new manager's campaign, coming on the back of a 4-1 home defeat by Northampton Spencer last week.
Young said: "We could have taken the lead in the first couple of minutes and it wasn't until our heads dropped after the break that the goals came.
"I was disappointed in the body language that some of the senior players showed at half-time. We win and lose as a team and the players must remember that."
Meanwhile, Saints reserves drew 2-2 at Bugbrooke with goals from Andy Sincock and Joe Walsh.
Saints travel to Buckingham Town tonight (Wednesday) and have a big fixture at home to Blackstones in an FA Vase tie on Saturday.
