Rovers had four players sent off during their 3-0 defeat at high-flying Pinchbeck United in the United Counties League Premier Division. Danny Draper was the first Rovers man to be dismissed in the 12th minute before Matt Clifford joined him in the dressing room barely 60 seconds later. Curtis Hartley was sent off early in the second half for collecting a second caution for dissent. He had earlier been booked in the aftermath to Drapers red card. Substitute Robert Ducket was then dismissed from the Rovers bench moments later on an afternoon to forget for the club. Assistant boss Richard King was in charge of Rovers with manager Mark working abroad. Chairman Plumb was also not in attendance but is now dealing with the matter. Plumb told the Hunts Post: We will have a full club investigation into the events of Saturday as this ill discipline is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated by Eynesbury Rovers. We will also co-operate fully with the Football Association and the league once the referees report and full facts are available. The nine men of Eynesbury kept out hosts Pinchbeck in the first half before conceding twice in three minutes early in the second period. A third Pinchbeck goal followed with 12 minutes to go while Jordan Brown missed Rovers best chance of an unlikely consolation goal on his return to the club following a spell at higher-level Peterborough Sports. United Counties League chairman John Weeks said: It is a disciplinary matter so therefore will be handled by the Hunts FA who will take any action they feel necessary. But it is obviously disappointing to hear and read of so many sendings off for one team in one game. Eynesbury, who are likely to be hit with a heavy fine, host Leicester Nirvana in the Premier Division this Saturday. They booked their place in the quarter-finals of the League KO Cup last Tuesday with a 4-0 win against Boston Town at Hall Road. Makeshift striker Steve Gentle struck twice with Kye Andrews and James Ducket also on target. Rovers now face Premier Division leaders Daventry Town in the last eight on November 27.
