EATON Socon and Needingworth both took some joy from their results in the Kershaw Premier at the weekend. Socon visited Littleport and came back with a point from a 1-1 draw and Needingworth shared a 2-2 draw with Waterbeach. Somersham trundled on in Kershaw A with a 4-1 win at Milton, and Brampton shaded a close match against Wisbech Town Reserves 2-1. Great Paxton crashed 3-0 to fellow strugglers Castle Camps and Hemingford fell apart at the seams when they lost to lowly Soham Town Reserves 4-1. Bluntisham's tale of woe continued in the B league as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Comberton United. Hemingford Reserves took the points in the derby with St Ives Rangers with a 2-0 win, while Fenstanton lost by the same score to neighbours Elsworth Sports. Ramsey turned on the style in the Peterborough Premier by winning 4-0 against Wimblington but a fast-improving Moulton Harrox side took the points at Alconbury with a 1-0 win. Warboys doubled their points tally for the season in Division Two with a cracking display against league leaders Netherton which earned them a 3-3 draw. In Division Three Sawtry continued their relentless march with a 6-0 win at basement club Guyhirn. Ramsey Reserves were second best as Moulton ran out 4-0 winners, but Alconbury Reserves held on to top spot with a 4-3 win at Netherton. Warboys Reserves also travelled well, winning 4-2 at Wimblington A. In the Sunday League, Hinchingbrooke Vets displayed their new kit - sponsored by The Swan, Offord - to best effect with a 6-1 win over MGI United. Dave Sira, Stuart Johnson, Simon Osbourne and Damian Sharp were all on the scoresheet.
