A TALENTED football foursome from Huntingdonshire Regional College have been selected to represent England Colleges this year.

Jordan Gent, who also plays for St Neots Town in the United Counties League Premier Division, joins Max Avory and Jake Walton in the men's squad, while Jade Bell has been picked on the women's side.

All four are currently studying Sport and Exercise Science at the college and their achievement was toasted by new principle Susanne Stent, who said: "We are very proud of the continued achievements of our students.

"I look forward to following the success of all four throughout the season."

And the call-ups are the latest in a long line of accolades for HRC, who continue to be remarkably successful both on and off the field, and are currently National Elite Colleges men's football champions.

The football development programme is managed by UEFA A Licensed coach and Premier League scout Gary Brown, who was also awarded Coach of the Year for the region at the Living Sports Awards in November.

Any aspiring footballers wishing to join the academic programme - to both further their education and football development - should contact Huntingdonshire Regional College on 01480 379106 or visit www.huntingdon.ac.uk
