RAMSEY Town saw their Peterborough Premier Title aspirations take a hit at Moulton Harrox as they lost 2-1, with James Wallis scoring for the Rams. In the same league Alconbury climbed to fourth spot after a good day on the road at Parsons Drove. Lee Deane, Sam Newman and John Reddell all bagged a goal in the 3-2 win.

Warboys lost 4-1 to Eye Sport and Tom Peacock was the Witches marksmen. Sawtry were left disappointed after losing 1-0 Langtoft.

Ramsey Reserves made it look easy against Parson Drove Reserves at Cricketfield Lane. Nick Ransome netted a brace, whilst Alex and David Bagnall, Ash Rothery and Tom Skidmore saw the hosts win 6-1. The Ramsey A outfit did even better, with an 8-1 away win at Eye Sport.

Alconbury and Warboys Reserves both suffered defeat, the former losing 1-0 to Wimblington and the latter 2-1 to Manea.

Much of the Kershaw Cambs football suffered at the hands of the weather. In 1A Cambourne fell to a 4-3 defeat a the hands of Girton United Reserves and it was a bad day for clubs in 1B. Fenstanton were dispatched by Longstanton 5-2, St Ives Rangers beaten 3-0 at Wisbech and Gransden Chequers were 3-1 losers to Waterbeach.

Papworth crashed to 5-1 defeat against University Press but Elsworth defeated Great Chishill by the same score in 2A to stay top of the league. Needingworth and Milton reserves failed to score and Huntingdon RGE and Burwell Swifts shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in 3B. Earith bounced into the New Year with a 4-0 win against The Vine Reserves in 4B.
