A PAIR of goals for Jamie Darlow and Jay Morris saw Ramsey Town maintain their position at the top of the Peterborough League Division One with a 4-0 win against Thorney. A goalless 45 minutes gave little indication of things to come as the Rams made it 16 wins out of 18 league fixtures so far. Elsewhere, Ramsey Reserves beat Oundle 4-2 thanks to Nick Ransome, Johny Beeson, Michael Cafferkey and new boss Terry Petriello, while Ramsey A ran out 6-2 winners at Sutton Bridge with a Michael Cook hat-trick, two from Calvin Ashfield and one from Stuart Costello doing the damage. A comprehensive performance from Sawtry saw them run out 6-0 winners against Peterborough Rovers thanks to Adam Cooke, Andrew Green, Darren Morrow, Scott Wormald and a brace from Matt Neave. Goals from Omar Miller and Raymond Brown didn't stop Warboys losing out 3-2 to Eye, while St Neots Reserves beat AFC Fletton 4-2 in the Scott Gatty Cup semi-final to set up a meeting with Huntingdon Town Reserves. Alconbury were on the wrong end of a nine-goal thriller as they went down 5-4 to Deeping Rangers despite two goals from Shakeel Tolcher and one each from Lee Deane and Alec Dalton, while Alconbury Reserves went down 3-0 to Hampton Athletic. A lack of fire power cost Somersham as they went down 2-0 at home to Debden, while Somersham Reserves at least managed a 2-0 win against The Vine with Ian Boon and Adam Spratt netting.
