History: Somersham Town Youth FC was formed in September 2005. Initially there were a group of 13 five-year-old boys who became two teams, Somersham Blue and Somersham Orange, named after the colours they played in. During the subsequent twelve months they played a series of friendles and were involved in several summer tournaments. The experience they gained during this time has proved invaluable with both teams having an excellent start to their first season in mini soccer. An U8 team has also been formed and they too are enjoying their first season. The Orange team are a very close knit unit with a great team spirit and really enjoy their football - win or lose they always have fun.
