Manager Matt Clements has called for a 90-minute performance from his St Neots Town side tomorrow.

Saints go to rock-bottom Gosport Borough in the Southern League Premier Division having lost just one of their last nine league games.

But that pleasing run doesn't mean the boss is completely satisfied with what he has seen from his side. Increased consistency and no hint of complacency are on his wish-list for their latest assignment against a home side who have only collected one point all season.

"We can't just assume we'll roll them over," said Clements. "We know we are only competitive when we put the hard work in.

"That has been the cornerstone of the good results we have enjoyed this season.

"We've been a bit too inconsistent for my liking at times and had to dig ourselves out of a couple of holes.

"I like what we're doing in general and hopefully we can do that for a full game.

"We've got quality, we've got character, now we need to put it all together on a consistent basis.

"I think I'm right in saying we've only scored the first goal in three games all season.

"While that's something we need to improve on, the fact we have been able to come from behind so often is a positive."

Clements has defensive concerns tomorrow. Tom Wood is absent due to family commitments while recent signing Ronayne Marsh-Brown is an injury doubt.

But Saints are boosted by the return of midfielder Ryan Horne who has been out with a hamstring problem.

Clements has no plans to bring Micky Hyem back from his long spell at Godmanchester Rovers at the current time.

Fellow locals St Ives Town are without a fixture tomorrow. Their scheduled opponents, Hereford, are still involved in the FA Cup.
