Bream was part of the Rovers side that shocked higher-level neighbours St Neots Town to lift the county crown with a 1-0 final victory just over a year ago. The same two teams do battle for the same piece of silverware again tonight at the same Premier Plus Stadium venue. Bream would obviously love the same outcome, too. We know we played a weakened St Neots team last season, admitted Bream. And they probably under-estimated us as well. It will be a very different game now. They are a completely different kettle of fish now and we will start as even bigger underdogs than last year. But it is a one-off game of football and anything can happen. We believe we are capable of causing another huge upset. St Neots will be desperate to avoid a repeat of what happened last season so we fully expect them to be at full-strength and throw the kitchen sink at us. Our team has changed a fair bit over since we won the trophy last season. Weve lost a lot of experience but we have plenty of lads who are young and raw and that means they play with no fear. Seven members of the Rovers squad of last season are likely to feature again tonight defenders James Ducket and Jack Uttridge, midfielders Robert Ducket, Bream and Jack Warwick, and attackers Jordan Brown and Craig Smith. Only three players who were part of the losing St Neots side in 2017 remain at the club. They are defenders Tom Wood, Taylor Parr and Johnny Herd. Striker James Tricks played for St Neots in the final last term and will now line up against them tonight having joined Eynesbury in March. Rovers go into the county showpiece in fine form after racking up a nine-match unbeaten run. Its a pleasing streak which has all-but-ensured a third successive finish in the United Counties League Premier Division top-six. They triumphed 3-0 at Desborough Town last Saturday when Tricks bagged an early brace inside the opening 10 minutes. A deflected Bream strike sealed a third consecutive victory with a quarter-of-an-hour to go. Eynesbury completed their league campaign at Leicester Nirvana this Friday.
