Eynesbury Rovers roared into third place in the United Counties League Premier Division yesterday.

Mark Ducket's men triumphed 2-1 at Sleaford to record a fourth successive league victory and move to within three points of table-topping Peterborough Sports.

They hit the front 10 minutes before the break in Lincolnshire courtesy of an own goal before Hayden Bream spectacularly doubled the advantage just after the hour with a 25-yard free-kick.

Sleaford did halve their arrears late on, but Rovers held on to claim maximum points.

Godmanchester Rovers remain in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division relegation zone.
