Mark Duckets men trounced struggling Lincolnshire side Harrowby United 12-0 in a United Counties League Premier Division clash. The Hall Road massacre came on a day when Eynesbury were without their suspended leading scorer, Craig Smith, but he clearly wasnt missed. His replacement, Rhys Thorpe, led the scoring charge with four goals, while midfielder Tom Coles and wideman Jordan Brown both bagged hat-tricks. Allan Owen and Hayden Bream also struck in the double-figures demolition. Rovers only had to wait three minutes to hit the front as Thorpe headed in a Robert Ducket ball. Owen laid off a throw-in for Bream to double the advantage 10 minutes later and a third goal swiftly followed when Ducket again provided the pass for Owen to lob visiting keeper Chris Bennett. Eynesbury struck twice more in the opening half as Thorpe completed his treble before a five-goal flurry in the space of 11 minutes in the second half carried them into double figures. Brown began that prolific spell in the 50th minute and Coles then tapped in after Brown had guided a cross against the far post. Coles soon added Eynesburys eighth goal before Brown struck twice in four minutes to complete a treble. That feat was matched by Coles as he brought up his hat-trick with 13 minutes to go, and Thorpe completed the avalanche of goals late on. Eynesburys previous biggest victory was 10-0 against Brackley in 1995. They also beat the same team 10-2 away that same season.
