Tom Coles hit a late winner as Rovers beat Sleaford Town 2-1 at Hall Road to register a ninth successive United Counties League victory today a feat they last managed at Step 5 level in 1990/91. They had to do it the hard way though, after falling behind midway through the first half when a George Asplin effort caught out goalkeeper Jamie Greygoose. Rovers levelled in the 66th minute as leading scorer Craig Smith earned and converted a penalty to register his 15th goal of the season. And the turnaround was completed with three minutes to go when Coles struck with three minutes to go. Huntingdon climbed off the bottom of the UCL Premier Division table today. Town collected their first league success since the opening day of the season when seeing off Wellingborough by a solitary goal at Jubilee Park. It arrived three minutes before the hour courtesy of Jamie Waterworth. They now sit second-bottom, a point clear of new basement boys Kirby Muxloe.
