St Neots Town 4-2 Holbeach United ST Neots Town maintained their lead at the top of the UCL Premier Division as they clocked up a midweek win over Holbeach United. Doubles from Dan Jacob and Stefan Moore were good enough for Saints, but they conceded two late goals to take the shine off the result. Title rivals Kings Lynn Town kept pace with Neots thanks to a 2-0 win at Wellingborough Town 2004, with Jack Defty claiming both. At the Hunts Post Community Stadium, St Neots had to wait until the 42nd minute to take the lead, when Jacob punished hesitation in the visiting defence. Moore doubled the home lead after 61 minutes, lobbing Ricky Lovelace after outpacing the defence, and the former Aston Villa striker scored again after 73 minutes from Hilliards free kick. Shaun Keeble clawed one back for Holbeach on 75 minutes when Luke McShane spilled a Tommy Treacher free kick, but Jacob made it 4-1 five minutes later when he combined with Moore and Hilliard. A second handling error from McShane allowed Cameron Mawer to score Holbeachs second in the 89th minute.Long Buckby 2-0 St Ives Town ST Ives Town went down to their second defeat of the season to Long Buckby as the hosts scored a goal in each half. Richard Bunting put the Bucks on their way to victory, scoring a 21st minute penalty after Dan Holmans shot was handled. The outcome remained in the balance until a minute from time, when Dan Holman added a second, beating two defenders out on the left before cutting inside to beat Niall Conroy-Owen with a well struck cross shot.
