A 7-0 drubbing of Kirkley & Pakefield at a snowy David Wilson Homes Ground clinched second spot with a game to spare. It also provided an 18th victory during a 19-match unbeaten league run stretching back to December. Rovers took command with two goals in the space of three minutes as Luke Browns opener was quickly followed by a Micky Hyem effort. And they effectively sealed their latest success courtesy of another quick double just before half-time as captain Taylor Parrs third goal was followed by a Brown penalty. But Rovers werent about to take it easy in a second half played in the most unseasonal of weather. Hyem struck seconds after the restart before Parr followed suit in adding his second of the night. Striker James Hall struck the final blow as he returned to Rovers colours for the first time since moving to Cambridge City at the end of January. Hall netted minutes after being introduced as a substitute.
