St Ives Town 1-0 King's Lynn Town

ST IVES Town made it back-to-back League Knockout Cup finals with a hard-fought win over King's Lynn Town last night (Thursday).

Scott Fielding's goal on 54 minutes was enough to earn the holders a passage through to face Peterborough Northern Star in the final on Saturday, May 7.

Saints were denied a second when Lynn keeper Matthew Hails saved an Ozie Foster penalty deep into the second half.

St Ives had been expecting to face neighbours St Neots Town in the semi-final, but King's Lynn were re-instated into the competition after it was revealed that St Neots Town had fielded an ineligible player in the previous round.

The final will be held at Raunds Town's ground
