SAINTS manager Dennis Greenes preparation for next season is already well under way. Greene has already identified three transfer targets and says he has reached verbal agreements with two of those. Neots need to strengthen after losing the services of centre-back Ian Gayle and winger Dominic Green, with both loanees returning to parent clubs Dagenham and Peterborough, respectively. Greene said: Well lose a couple but everyone else, at the moment, is staying. Ive had agreements with two players, but obviously until we get it confirmed what league were going to be in, we cant sign them formally anyway. Well hope to do so in early June. Defender and long-term injury victim Adam Jones, meanwhile, is set to retire after struggling to regain full fitness. Centre-half Lewis Christon, who hasnt featured much in the first team since joining Neots in January, will join up for pre-season training in a continued bid to get fit. Another task Greene has during the close season is to appoint a new reserve team manager. Any interested applicants, with experience in the UCL or equivalent level, should email a CV to firstname.lastname@example.org Winger Dan Jacob was picked out as the Managers Player of the Season at the clubs end-of season awards evening on Saturday. Greene highlighted Jacobs 94th minute winner at St Ives in February as well as the two he scored a Kings Lynn last month as factors that swayed him.
