HUNTINGDON Town Reserves raced in to a 3-0 lead in the first half of their Scott Gatty Cup tie against Needingworth United. A fourth goal just after the restart looked to have killed the game but gallant Needingworth refused to lie down. Mbonisi Nyathi got Needingworth on the board and Matt Cox gave Town a further scare by grabbing a second. Town, whose goals had been scored by Joe Furnace, with a brace, Dan Drane and Charlie Bowen, held firm to secure their play in the next round were they will meet St Ives Town Reserves.

In the Kershaw Premier Somersham will consider it two points lost after they were held to a 0-0 draw by lowly Hundon and Eaton Socon found Foxton too smart and suffered a 4-2 defeat.

In Senior A Brampton drew 1-1 at Castle Camps and Hemingford's United had to share the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Wimblington. Great Paxton were also on the draw column after being held goalless by Melbourn.

Lower down the leagues Eaton Reserves put a 3-1 win over Girton Reserves but the local derby between Bluntisham Rangers and Somersham Reserves ended at 0-0.

Buckden hit high fives against Cottenham Reserves, the final score 5-2 to the Bucks.

Fenstanton went on a goal feast against Hemingford Reserves winning 6-1 but Huntingdon RGE and St Ives Rangers failed to locate the net in 90 minutes and finished goalless.

In the Peterborough Premier Ramsey kept up the pressure on pace-setters Pinchbeck with a good 3-2 win at Deeping Sport but it was a bad day in Division Three for Hartford Sun FC who crashed to their first defeat of the campaign, 3-0 at home to Castor.
