Popular goalkeeper Paul Bastock is one of four players to have been allowed to leave St Neots Town.
The 43 year-old, who played passed the 1,000 league match milestone back in January, does not figure in boss David Batch’s future plans.
The same applies to defender Josh Bickerstaff, midfielder Matt Spring and forward Lorenzo Ferrari who have also been told they won’t be offered fresh terms at the Cozy Stadium.
Batch is preparing for his first full season at the helm after taking St Neots to within touching distance of promotion from the Southern League Premier Division following his December appointment.
He said: “Each player has demonstrated an excellent attitude and have been a credit to the club.
“I personally want to thank them for their contribution last season in what turned out to be a very near miss at being promoted.
“I genuinely wish them all well for the future and am sure our supporters will feel the same.”
Batch also revealed St Neots have wrapped up two transfers for new faces, but he has not disclosed their identities.
One is a player from a higher-level while they have also agreed with a fee with a Step 4 club for what he describes as an ‘exciting talent’.
