The Sunday football stars of Alconbury are out to complete a trophy-laden season with a fantastic finish tomorrow.
Chris Kirschner’s side have dominated the Huntingdonshire Sunday League campaign by lifting four pieces of silverware.
Alconbury have roared to Premier Plus Invitation League title success, and added the Hunts Cup, Ernie Childs Cup and Joe Mansfield Trophy to their collection in what is likely to be their final season.
And there could still need to find more room in their silverware cabinet when facing The Dragoon in the final of the Neways Cup at Jubilee Park, in Huntingdon, tomorrow (12.30pm).
Alconbury’s only defeat of the entire season came in another cup final – the Steve Thresh Trophy showpiece – earlier this month.
They were beaten 2-0 by Catworth in that contest, but claimed revenge with a 5-2 victory against the same team in a Neways Cup semi last weekend.
