EYNESBURY ROVERS still have an outside chance of finishing fourth in UCL Division One - but need results to go for them this weekend. Matt Plumb takes his side, currently in sixth, to Northampton Sileby Rangers for their final league fixture on Saturday. To finish fourth they would need Bugbrooke to take a point from fourth-placed Huntingdon while Eynesbury, who have a far better goal difference than Huntingdon, need to win by three clear goals to overhaul fourth-placed Olney, who have completed their fixtures. Although they look more than able to keep their end of the bargain after racking up six without reply against Potton at Hall Road on Easter Monday - their biggest win of the campaign. Lee Bassett opened the scoring 10 minutes in, with Shane Fox doubling Rovers advantage after 31 minutes. Fox scored his second goal four minutes into the second half before one time Potton man Ben Cole made it four after 69 minutes. A penalty gave Fox the chance to complete his hat-trick after 74 minutes and Scott Kingsbury had the last word a minute from time as Eynesbury completed a league double over their opponents. On Saturday, Buckingham avenged their 5-0 home thrashing by Rovers at the start of the month with a surprise 2-0 success at Hall Road. Buckingham took the lead after 56 minutes with Ashley Farmers free-kick finding the home net via the defensive wall. The Robins sealed their win after 69 minutes with a fine run from Geoff Baffo carving out the opening converted by Kyle Stimpson from close range.
