Twins James Ducket and Robert Ducket have opted to stay at Hall Road despite being the subject of summer advances from other clubs. Both players excelled last season as Eynesbury rocketed up the United Counties League Premier Division standings to finish in sixth position. Tom Coles, James Freshwater, Joe Bradbury, Darren Woodend, Rhys Thorpe and Owen Dixon have also all agreed to stay for boss Mark Duckets first full season in charge. He said: James has snubbed a massive offer from a Step 4 club while Robert has been approached by other sides at Step 5. It is huge boost that both lads have agreed to stay and it is also a massive coup to keep Tom at the club. He is a big personality off the pitch and a very good player on it. We have retained some very good players already and were still talking to other lads. Hopefully we will be able to add half-a-dozen new faces as well to try to kick on from what we achieved last season. But boss Ducket, who took charge of Eynesbury at the beginning of December, has missed out on his top striking target Craig Smith of UCL Premier Division rivals Peterborough Northern Star. The frontman is set to sign for another side at that level - Deeping.
