PRIORY U10L wrapped up a perfect season with a 4-0 over Priory C, making it 16 wins from 16 games. Both teams competed well, but Priory L just had the edge, and their superior finishing saw them run out victors. The goals came from Josh Unwin, who hit a hat-trick, and Matthew Law. U10 GODMANCHESTER Rovers went on a second-half scoring spree as they ran out 13-4 winners against Huntingdon Rowdies. A hat-trick from Connor Rice and an Alfie Toseland strike put Goddy 4-1 up at half-time. Rice added another three after the break, Jared McNamara bagged two and Jake Bennett knocked in four to bring up the lucky thirteen for Rovers. CLINICAL finishing saw St Ives Whites to a 9-1 win over Bluntisham White that was closer than the scoreline suggested. After conceding the first goal, St Ives roared back through a Jacob Textor hat-trick and a single from William James before the interval. James added another three in the second half, Thomas James (MoM) netted one, and Joe Fishburn scored direct from a corner. PRIORY M played some slick passing football as they beat Priory B 10-1. Luke Watling and Rylee Scott (MoM) picked up two goals apiece, with Joe Bennett, Tom Berrill, Jack Morrison and Alfie Bass also getting on the scoresheet. Jack Flowers and Jon Ryan-Gill brought up the total with their first goals of the season. ALCONBURY edged a tight end-of-season encounter against Warboys, winning 4-3. Warboys took the lead early on, but Alconbury equalised through a Nathan Rigden (MoM) tap-in. Rigden added a second from long-range, and completed his hat-trick from another set-piece before the half-time break. A lack of concentration allowed Warboys to get back on level terms early in the second half, and the game remained tight until ten minutes from time, when George Martin turned his defender and slotted home the winner for Alconbury. BRAMPTON Spartans Blues took an early lead through Nathan May on their way to recording a 3-1 win over St Ives Rangers Reds. Ives equalised, but Spartans went close several times as Chris Hartley (MoM) controlled proceedings, before Martin Uy netted an audacious backheel. May added his second, and Spartans' third, with a powerful finish towards the end. BRAMPTON Spartans U10 Reds took on their U9 Blue clubmates in an end-of-season friendly, and ran out 8-1 winners. The U9 team produced the better football in the first half but were 3-1 down at the break after U10 scored through Grady Bruce (2) and William Dines-Allen, and the U9 goal came through an own goal. The strength and stamina of the U10 team told in the second half as Martin Uy (2), George Kelly, Archie Smith and Jack Mitchell brought up the total, with Jack Veazey man of the match. U12 ST NEOTS took on Peterborough League winners Woodston Dynamos in the final of the U12 cup at Yaxley, but went down 2-1 in the final seconds of the game. Saints made a great start thanks to Samuel Pritchard's strike in the second minute, but held the lead for just four minutes. Both teams had chances in a close game, and Lewis Davis was denied for Saints before Matthew Gilbert hit the crossbar. With legs beginning to tire, Saints hearts were broken as Woodston scored from close range to win the match and the cup.
