Josh Unwin scored four goals as St Neots Town Blue beat Sawtry 10-0 with Harrison Upton getting a hat-trick and Lewis Rook, Jordan Saywell and Jordan Brown scoring the others. The White team went one goal better when they beat Brampton 11-0 with four goals from Tom Banks, three from Ryan Galbraith, and one each from Ashley Salmon, Rhys Thorpe and Jacob Tyler. Goalkeepers Joe Fraser and Liam Gooch also deserve a mention after keeping clean sheets.ALCONBURY ALCONBURY Whites under-10s got their season off to a flying start when they beat Bluntisham Blasters Reds 4-2 in the Cambs & District League. From the start both teams were keen to keep possession but Alconbury managed to score early with a well-taken goal from Josh Ramsaran. A few minutes later Ryley McDougald scored Alconburys second goal but within minutes of the restart Bluntisham had pulled one back to make it 2-1. In the second half, Bluntisham scored again but a few minutes later Dean Caine and man of the match Josh Ramsaran scored for Alconbury to make it 4-2.BRAMPTON SPARTANS BRAMPTON Spartans under-15s lost 4-1 to Arbury Aces in their first Cambs & District B Division game of the season. Arbury scored twice in four minutes but Toby Graham got one back before the visitors added another two. Brampton improved in the second half with midfielder Nathan Jones and goalkeeper Harry Everest especially impressive. Bramptons under-10s went to Great Gransden and won 3-0 with all three goals coming in the last quarter of the game. Jake Bycroft hit Bramptons first, scoring after his original shot had been parried by the goalkeeper, and Lewis King got the second with a cultured strike. King added the third soon after with a fine strike after a great run.BUCKDEN AARON Hamer scored four goals as Buckden Kestrals under-9s beat a Ramsey team 7-1 in a friendly. Jack Squire scored twice and MacKenzine May also got a goal in the excellent win.GODMANCHESTER ROVERS YOUTH GODMANCHESTER Rovers Youth under-13s Division C team began their Cambs & District season with a 2-1 win over Newmarket side Panthers. Goddy took the lead in the 20th minute when Matt Kent scored from the penalty spot. But Panthers equalised a minute later and it was 1-1 at half time. Jaiden Richardson made it 2-1 to Goddy early in the second half and with 10 minutes to go Kent scored with a deflected effort. Nathan Peacock made an excellent save to deny the panthers a second goal late on. Andrew Chapman was the man of the match for Goddys under-14s as they began their Cambs & District A Division season with a 2-1 defeat at Haddenham. Jake Bennett got Goddys equaliser after a goalless first half. The new look Goddy under-16s White team went to Cambourne in their first Cambs & District Division A game of the season and won 1-0. It was new signing Kieran Price who scored the goal, coming off the bench in the 20th minute and finding the net just three minutes later.HUNTINGDON ROWDIES FREDDIE Francis scored a first-half hat-trick for Huntingdon Rowdies under-15s but his side still lost to St Ives Blue Sox in their first Cambs & District League game of the season. Rowdies went 2-0 down early on but Francis scored his three goals for a 3-2 half-time lead. In the second half, St Ives rallied and won the game 5-3. After a convincing display to win in the Mitsa Challenge Cup the previous weekend, Rowdies under-15s travelled to Yaxley in the first round of the Hunts County Cup and came away with a convincing 10-3 win. There were hat-tricks for both George Smith and Connor Lewis with Connor Ray, Charlie Mercer, Fraser Jones and man-of-the-match Bradley Bennett getting the other goals. Rowdies under-13s were unlucky to lose 4-2 to visitors Burwell Tigers. Rowan Chapman scored two equalisers for the home side before Burwell scored two more goals late on in the game. Rowdies under-10s got their season off to a flying start with a great 5-1 win over St Ives Rangers. Harrison Scaife put them in front early on with Archie Rickson quickly making it two before half time. Jay Parr then scored with a great lob before Josh McNamara netted twice on his debut. Danny Saddiq was the man of the match.FENSTANTON FENSTANTON under-9s played their final pre-season warm-up match on Saturday and earned a morale boosting 10-2 win away to Kimbolton & Catworth. Tommy McCarthy, Aedan Boyd and Thomas Garcia all scored two goals each while Ethan Rice, Ayo Opaleye, Louie Cooper and Harry Keates getting the others.NEEDINGWORTH COLS NEEDINGWORTH under-10s started life in the Hunts Mini Soccer Leagues A Division with a brilliant team performance and a 12-2 win. Joe Cobb scored four of the goals but there were also debut hat-tricks from Lewis Dumont and man of the match Connor Lyden. Leon Pearce scored with a cracking bicycle kick, and there was a thunderous strike from Toby Gray to complete the rout.PRIORY PARKSIDE PRIORY Parkside Black under-8s began their new season with a stunning 8-2 win over St Ives Rangers Blue Sox with Jaiden Bell scoring five of their goals. The striker scored a first-half hat-trick with Ben Joyce and Mickey Buckland also getting on the score sheet for a 5-0 lead. St Ives came out strongly in the second half and pulled a goal back before Jerry Williams scored a 15-yard scorcher for Priory and Bell scored two more. The newly formed Priory Parkside under-12s girls side had their first league match on Saturday and beat another new team, Wisbech St Marys, 2-1. Fran Goughs first-half goal was cancelled out early in the second half but Gough was on target again for the points.RAMSEY COLTS RAMSEY Colts under-10s started their Cambs & District League season with a 5-1 win over Stukeley Meadows on Sunday. Jake Axon hit a hat-trick with Ollie OConnor and Tom Smith got the other goals while the man of the match was the hard-working defender Toby Marsh. Ramsey under-13s were beaten 3-2 at home by Cherry Hinton Lions.SOMERSHAM TOWN MACKENZIE ODonoghue was Somersham Town Colts man of the match in their Cambs & District Colts League under-14s Division B 5-0 defeat to visitors Teversham on Sunday.STAPLOE & DULOE STAPLOE & Duloe under-13s began their first season in a Hunts League top flight in style beating Hemingford Colts Gold 6-0 away from home. The home team managed to keep Staploe quiet until the second half when Callum Dickerson scored four times with Nathan Ruff and Josh Fulton getting the other goals. The first Sunday also saw a win for Staploes under-12s with Ben Abbott scoring a first-half hat-trick and a fourth goal in the second half in their 6-2 win over Gransden Youth Blue. Alfie Edwards and Jamie Watson made sure it was 5-0 at half-time before the visitors pulled two goals back and Abbott secure the points. Joining Abbott as man of the match was Carl Smith.ST IVES RANGERS ST Ives Rangers under-13s girls got off to a winning start in the S-Tech League when they beat Chatteris 3-0. St Ives took the lead through an Ebony Smith free kick on 15 minutes with Freya Triggs increasing the lead soon after. Chatteris rallied in the second half and put St Ives under some early pressure, but Amy Seymour-Shove scored St Ives third goals after a brilliant 30-yard run. The Newest St Ives Rangers team St Ives Rangers Red Sox under-14s shot out the blocks on Sunday with Elliot Luxford the man-of-the-match in their 2-0 win over Priory Parkside in Division C of the Cambs & District League. Adam Parr and Daniel Hudson scored St Ives goals inside the first seven minutes.ST NEOTS TOWN YOUTH AFTER wining promotion last season, St Neots Town Youth under-12s won their opening game in the top division of the Royston Crow League on Sunday. Billy Mobbs scored a hat-trick in their 6-3 win at home to Baldock Town Templars with Harry Perry, Bailey Armiger and man of the match James Parker also getting on the score sheet.WARBOYS WARBOYS under-12s made a brilliant start to their Cambs & District season beating Fenstanton 7-1. The first half was close with Warboys 2-0 up at half-time through Kieran Robertson and Stuart Hurrell. Fenstanton pulled a goal back at the start of the second half but Josh Francis curled in a corner kick to make it 3-1. From then on Warboys were always in control and further goals were scored by Charlie Gray a superb left footed strike from about 20 yards and man- of the match Dillan Scott, before Robertson struck to complete his hat-trick. Warboys under-9s Black kicked off their Hunts Mini Soccer season with a 15-2 win over FC United Hammers with goalkeeper Kye Gilmour the star performer.NOTICE PRIORY Parkside will be hosting some mini-soccer fun on the September 15. The mini soccer sessions are for children in Reception to Year 6 who want to have a go at football and the coaches at Priory Parkside are FA Level 1 qualified, have CRB checks and are first aid trained. The sessions take place in Priory Park, Huntingdon Road, St Neots between at 9.45am and 11.00am. The sessions will run for 10 weeks and children will need to bring their own shin pads and boots.
