The Saints entertain Chippenham Town at the Cozy Stadium this Saturday (3pm) in a game which will prove crucial to their chances of making the Southern League Premier Division play-offs. St Neots climbed back into the top five courtesy of a 1-1 draw at Dorchester on Saturday when defender Tom Ward marked his return from suspension with an equaliser. And Kearns has called on the local public to help them take another big step towards earning promotion to Conference North or South level. Kearns said: There is no doubt this is the biggest game the club has ever been involved in. It is a huge game. It would be an unbelievable achievement if we could be playing Conference football next season, but I feel we are ready for it. We decided to have a real go after appointing David Batch as manager at Christmas and we have done just that. Weve lost only one game since and have been the form team in the division in 2015. We will have a great chance of going up if we can make it into the play-offs and getting a result against Chippenham would be a huge help. The Southern Premier Division is the toughest in all non-league football and we need everyone to get behind us. I just want the whole town to turn out and give us the extra push towards promotion. I would love a crowd of 700-plus. St Neots then travel to relegation-threatened Frome in their final game on April 25.
