Buckingham Town 1 Huntingdon Town 1
Three wins and a draw in the last four games have seen Huntingdon climb to equal third in the league with a game in hand.
It could have been even better if the referee had played just a little bit of added time as the Huntingdon outfit outplayed the home side for more than 70 minutes.
A confused Young said: "We gained another point but should have had three, why the referee added no time after the full 90 is strange. The injury to Booker took nearly 10 minutes and there were other numerous stoppages.
This was Buckingham's first home league game of the season and they must have felt very confident as Joel McCormick, who hit a hat-trick in the earlier Jubilee Park meeting, gave Buckingham the lead inside five minutes.
Town's response was terrific, a non-stop assault on the host's goal ensued. Chris Caswell had two golden opportunities to score but failed to find the target on both occasions. With the midfield controlling most things and the defence giving nothing away for the rest of the first half, Huntingdon kept the home sides chances to a minimum.
If the Buckingham goal had been under pressure during the first half it was put under total siege for the whole of the second period as Huntingdon attacked incessantly. Only a serious head injury to Huntingdon's Lee Booker which took almost 10 minutes to treat gave them any relief.
Huntingdon had a good penalty appeal for handball on the line waved away before Chris Aloyu-Coaney was felled in the box to give the visitors a chance to equalise.
Manager Darren Young must have felt it wasn't to be their day as the home keeper's full length dive pushed the ball round the post. Not to be denied, from the resultant corner defender Mark Burrows rose to head the equaliser with minutes remaining.
