A new summer football competition is up and running in the area.
The Hunts FA Elevens – open to adult and Under 17 teams - got underway last week when Eunice Huntingdon beat Sawtry Colts 6-0.
All matches take place on Wednesdays on the 3G pitch at Hinchingbrooke School and last for 50 minutes.
Hunts FA county development manager Dean Watson said: “The league aims to support new teams ahead of next season, provide pre-season matches at a guaranteed central venue and allow Under 17 players to play alongside adults in preparation for when they progress into open aged football.”
The league can cater for a maximum of six teams and has two spaces still available.
Entry costs £20, including insurance and two free Nike footballs, and the fees are then £20 per game.
The closing date is Friday and any teams interested should contact Watson on 01480 447483 or by email at dean.watson@huntsfa.com
