SIXTEEN-year-old old Brad Kendall had a remarkable result last week while on holiday at Whiteacres, near Newquay in Cornwall.

The young angler achieved his first-ever match win in a 60-peg silver fish match. Brad, who caught 57lb, won £110 and a week's holiday at Whiteacres - with a chance to qualify for their festival. He also proved that it was not a fluke when he finished seventh of 105 anglers in a rover match later in the week, with 75lb.
