Midland 4 East (South)
Vauxhall Motors Luton 3-19 St Neots
ST NEOTS handled a difficult fixture at Vauxhall Motors Luton with an accomplished performance.
Adam Hanley and Adam Porter scored two good tries after an even first 15 minutes.
As the game moved towards half time, Sam Peel ran back a Vauxhall kick and Dave Gamble fed Hanley to power through again.
The second half was disjointed, with stoppages for injuries, substitutions, two yellow cards for Vauxhall, a disallowed third try for Hanley and what should have been a St Neots penalty try when high tackle halted Adam Peel on the goal line. Despite the action, there were no further points and Neots took the win.
INFORMATION: Training is at St Neots Rugby Club on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.30pm, and new players are always welcome. Contact Marcus Wale on 07584 036290.
