The Hunts Bowling Federation secured an excellent victory against Northamptonshire at the weekend.
The match was the fourth round of the Derbyshire Trophy, with three rinks played at Huntingdon and three rinks at Peterborough.
The three HBF home rinks were very closely matched being 14 shots to 12 up after five ends. Northants fell further behind, and by end 10, trailed 33 shots to 21. Hunts won all home rinks, with a score of 75 to 51 after 25 ends.
The away leg was just as close with HBF down by seven shots down after 20 ends. Over the next five ends all three HBF rings surged ahead to win on two rinks and draw on the other, collecting 21 points in the process.
