Eynesbury Rovers have been handed a tough task in the first round proper of the FA Vase.

Martin Field’s men will go to unbeaten Spartan South Midlands Premier Division side Hertford Town on Saturday, October 31.

Rovers made progress in the competition on Saturday when two Lee Bassett goals helped them see off Fakenham 3-1 at Hall Road.

Godmanchester Rovers enter the FA Vase at the first round proper stage and have received a home tie against fellow Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division outfit Mildenhall Town.

The two teams meet in a league clash at the David Wilson Homes Ground this Wednesday.
