EX-FULHAM player Sylvain Legwinski is the latest high profile name to be linked with the vacant manager's position at St Neots Town.
Frenchman Legwinski, who has also played for AS Monaco, Bordeaux and Ipswich Town during his 15-year career, was seen around Rowley Park at training on Tuesday. A source close to St Neots told The Hunts Post that midfielder Legwinski is one of the forerunners for the post, along with ex-West Ham player Steve Lomas and ex-Manchester City player Michael Hughes.
Saints hope to appoint a manager early next week, said club President Mark Bicknell. "To get an ex-Premiership player at this level would be very good," said Bicknell.
St Neots have been without a manager since Marvin Johnson was sacked on March 4. The caretaker management duo of Grant Ager and Mel Hancock seen the team lose twice, to Yaxley at Rowley Park last Saturday and at Sleaford Town on March 7.
