ENGLAND'S Ladies cricket team, captained by Pidley-born Charlotte Edwards, have retained the Ashes with a superb win in Australia.
Edwards, 28, hit the winning runs as her side knocked off the 144 runs required to win the single test match at the Bradman Oval in New South Wales.
The win is the finest of Edwards' career and comes just a week after she made her 100th One Day International appearance for England.
Look out for a full interview with Edwards in this week's edition of The Hunts Post, out on February 20.
