St Neots Bowls Club were beaten in the quarter-finals of the English Under 25 Double Rink Championships last weekend.
The young bowlers went down 44-31 to Ipswich after their away rink enjoyed victory but their home side suffered a heavy defeat.
The quarter of Hannah Felce, Rebecca Moorbey, Tom Hall and skip Jamie Barker won 23-18 on the road, but Hayden Moorbey, Mack May, Robbie Parker and skipper Adam Barker went down 26-8 on their own rink.
