ST IVES got their third win on the spin as they beat Daventry Town yesterday (Tuesday).
Junior McDougald fired the visitors ahead after nine minutes for a half time lead. Ozie Foster doubled their advantage with 10 minutes left on the clock and Ryan Byrne's reply for the visitors after 83 minutes was too little, too late.
Ives next travel to Cogenhoe United on Saturday and lie 11 points off league leaders Newport Pagnell Town with a game in hand, though they have four games in hand over second-placed Deeping Rangers who are level on points with Newport. Ives have won 10 of their last 12 league games.
