Dan Smith enjoyed another good finish in the latest round of the Trail Bike Enduro Club Championship.
Smith finished fifth overall and third in the Elite class at the Champs Motor Park in Northamptonshire – a new venue for the series – last Sunday.
Overnight rain made for some treacherous conditions and Smith, who is challenging for top spot in the overall standings, described his race as being ‘far from perfect’.
Smith was in winning form the previous weekend in the fourth round of the Chiltern Hills Enduro Championship at Weedon Motorcross track, near Northampton.
He triumphed in the four-hour enduro race by completing 24 laps without receiving any time penalties, beating more than 120 rival riders in the process.
