Cecilia Hime completed a hat-trick of Central League successes last Sunday.

The St Ives Cycling Club star triumphed in the Junior Girls section in the fifth round of the series at Milton Keynes Bowl – following up previous victories in the first and fourth events.

That was one of three podium finishes enjoyed by St Ives members on the same day – the other two both arriving in the sixth round of the Eastern League.

Orla Kenna took second place in the Under 12 category at Mistley, in Essex, while Sapphire Curtis finished third in the Under 14 Girls race.

Other top-10 finishes came from Ralf Falkner (fifth, Under 14 Boys), Max Falkner (10th, Under 16 Boys), Dominic Pauley (eighth, Under 12 Boys) and Liam Conway (ninth, Under 12 Boys) at the Central League event, while Nathan Gibson (seventh, Junior Boys) and Andy Fountain (10th, Veteran 50+) impressed in the Eastern League round.
