St Ives Cycling Club rider Hector Corey sampled success last weekend.
Corey, who only recently joined the local club, triumphed in the 12th round of the Lee Valley Winter Circuit Race Series in London.
He delivered a fine burst to beat two other riders in a sprint finish after a couple of failed breakaway attempts earlier in the Catgeory 3 event.
Corey had finished third and 10th in his two previous attempts at races in the series.
