Mark Roberts produced a scorching performance to win the latest St Ives Cycling Club time trial – staged on the hottest day of the year.
Roberts completed the 10-mile course, starting and finishing at Sawtry, in a time of 22.19 to triumph by more than a minute.
Tim Phillips took second spot with a useful 23.20 and Andrew Knowles was eight seconds further back in third.
Wendy Gooding continued her dominance of the leading lady prize with a time of 25.29 which was just enough to sneak into the top 10 of the overall standings.
Nathan Gibson and Holly Hoy were the fastest Under 18 male and female riders in times of 26.07 and 29.15 respectively.
