This youngster from Alconbury has been causing a real stir in the swimming pool - by picking up a hatful of trophies.

Charlotte Harrison, 12, was the star of Huntingdon Piranhas' annual awards night and enters 2008 as the holder of 11 club records, including the county 50-metre butterfly benchmark in her age group.

Harrison is club champion in 12 events and already holds the club record in 10 of them. She has also represented Cambridgeshire and Cambridgeshire Schools and is a member of the Mid-Beds Swim Squad.

She has already focused herself on the 2008 season and is aiming to impress at the 2008 Cambridgeshire County Championships and Eastern Region Championships. She has set her sights firmly on breaking county records for 13-year-old girls at 50m butterfly and 100m butterfly during the next 12 months.
