STAFF at Hinchingbrooke Hospital gratefully received an inscribed bench from the organisers and winners of the Hinchingbrooke Football Cup Competition.
The bench was presented to the Woodlands Cancer Care Centre last Tuesday, July 25, by Bev Strong, the secretary of Potton United FC.
Potton were the recent winners of the competition and chose to present the bench to the Woodlands Centre because the club have recently lost two former players, in their early forties, to cancer.
Back Row: Ward staff Sue Barnett, Andrea Brennan, Sara Holme, Oli Sherwood. Front Row: Bev Strong, John Walker and Ward Sister Jeanette Birch.
