These junior cricketers from Upwood claimed a fine victory in the Hunts County under 11 final against Nassington.
The final was played at the sixth attempt and despite adverse weather there were some notable performances. Upwood bowler Jordan Cafferkey, aged nine, took four wickets but the star of the show was man of the match Robert Sayer.
He took four wickets and also starred with the bat as Upwood posted 334 before restricting Nassington to 312.
The match was played in a superb spirit and a representative from the county board was on hand to present the tophies.
