CROSSHALL Junior School at Eaton Ford are on the "Road to Wembley" after winning the ESFA U11s County Final at Ely.

The team qualified for the county stage of the competition by winning the Hunts District Primary Schools FA Autumn Term competition where they were up against Milton Primary School (Cambs district), William Law C of E Primary (Peterborough district) and Ely St Mary's Junior School (Ely district).

The team were victorious against all three of the schools in the group stages and then had to face Ely St Mary's in the final play-off. In a tense final it needed extra time to find a winner but it was Crosshall that went home with the trophy.

The team will now go on to represent Cambs in the South-East Regional Finals of the ESFA U11s Road to Wembley competition later this term.
