Already assured of promotion, Ryan Withers men were left frustrated after being pipped to the championship crown by March, who triumphed at Fordham in one of only two fixtures to be completed yesterday. March began the day a point behind St Ives in a thrilling title battle, but their six-wicket triumph earned a 20-point haul which carried them 12 points clear. St Ives home clash against Warboys was abandoned with Withers side having been dismissed for 133. The skipper hit a half-century to lead his team to respectable total after they had been in dire straits at 21-5 early on. St Ives earned seven points for their troubles, while the 15 gained by Warboys for their fine bowling effort ensured they avoided a second successive relegation. Warboys finish in sixth spot sandwiched by two other local sides with Kimbolton in fifth and Huntingdon & District ending the campaign seventh. The Division One matches involving local sides Ramseys home derby clash against Godmanchester, Eaton Socons visit to Nassington and Waresleys trip to relegated Blunham - were all abandoned without a ball being bowled. Ramsey finish fourth, Godmanchester sixth, Eaton Socon seventh and Waresley eighth.
