Huntingdon BRJ prospect Liam Conway collected two race victories in as many days.

Conway’s successful weekend began in the Leighton Buzzard Triathlon last Saturday and continued the following day at the Discovery Open Water Triathlon in Chelmsford. He triumphed in the TriStar 2 category in both events.

Lauren Elliott made it a double BRJ success at Leighton Buzzard as she won the Youth Girls event, while Joe Lewey was 17th in TriStar 2 and Camila Amezquita finished 21st in TriStar 1.

Beatrice Pauley secured a podium finish at Chelmsford when taking third spot in the TriStar 3 bracket while a crash on the final cycle leg cost her younger brother, Dominic a podium place of his own as he dropped from second to sixth in his category.

BRJ senior members Paulus and Karen Maukonen finished as eighth male and 25th female respectively in the Norwich Triathlon. Paulus won his age group in the sprint distance event.
