TREBLES from Thomas and Samuel Martin helped Alconbury Reds kick off the season with a 13-2 win against Buckden. More goals came from Alfie Brimson, Joe Whitney, George Bush and Hayden Riley Moore.

Alconbury Blue won 9-4 against Inter 08, with six for Jamie Bunn, two for Jack Wyles and one for Euan Clark.

Ramsey A drew 2-2 with Fenstanton thanks to goals from Aidan Seabridge and a late equaliser from Joshua France.

A goal from Toby Harding was some consolation as Ramsey B lost 9-1 to Little Paxton.

BRAMPTON Spartans won 4-1 against Somersham Black thanks to two goals from George Grant and one each for Jordan Locke and James Dean.

Bluntisham Blasters White won 10-1 at Buckden Black with hat-tricks for Jack Bradshaw and Olly Taylor, two for Daniel Phillips and one each for Brandon Jack and Will Spencer.

Blasters Reds lost out by the odd goal in 13 to Alconbury Blue. Samual Johnson scored four for Bluntisham with Max Davies grabbing the other two but Alconbury goals from Jacob Pack and Henry Sharman (two each), Harris Lacey, Ben Rycroft, and Kyle Kirschner sealed the win.

Harry England and Kieran Robertson both scored twice as Warboys beat Ramsey 4-1.

St Neots earned 2-1 and 3-0 wins against Welwyn Garden City in a double-header. Bailey Armiger scored twice in game one, while Devon Armiger, Gabe Harrison and Samuel Wilson netted in game two.

Buckden fired 13 past Alconbury Red without reply, while Godmanchester went one better against Priory, who scored three in reply. Dominic Forshaw scored seven and the rest of the goals were split between Nathaniel Vale, Christopher Barkshire and Adam Hunt.

St Ives Rangers D beat counterparts Rangers T 7-3 with a hat-trick from Thomas James and two each for Amir Kamel, Ben Wellings and Matt Logue. Jamie Payne scored twice in reply, with Joe Tattersall adding the third.

Ramsey lost to neighbours Warboys 4-1 with Andrew Cooke netting the consolation goal.

GOALS from Charlie Edwards-Ainge, Toby Davies and Thomas Dowell did not stop Bluntisham Blasters Red going down 4-3 to KC Cougars B.

Double strikes from Jonathan Owen and Nathan Rigden earned Alconbury Colts a 6-1 win against St Ives Rangers - Jack Brinson and George Martin sealed the win.

Stukeley Meadows fired in three second-half goals to run out 3-0 winners against St Ives Rangers K - Sam Kingswell hit two on his debut and Jordan Thrift-Sommers added another.

St Ives Rangers S won 8-2 victors against Huntingdon Rowdies. Benji Eyre hit four on his debut, Matthew Wright hit two, while Callum McDuffus and Luke Packham got one each.

St Ives Reds beat KC Cougars 3-2 thanks to Jack Banyard, James Marshall and Will Rolt in a very sporting game.

Warboys overcame Priory 2-1 with goals from Kyle Coppolaro and a late Josh McCammon strike.

Connor Rice scored Godmanchester's goal in a 2-1 defeat of Brampton Spartans.

BLUNTISHAM Blasters came from behind to beat St Ives Rangers 4-1 thanks to goals from Ben Johnson, Luke Young and a double from Dean Worrall.

Godmanchester A strolled to a 7-2 win against Ramsey A with five for Greg Goodwin and one each for Jarred Sharpe and Lewis Gabb. Rams' goals came from William Taylor and Jordan Mayes.

Priory Parkside B lost 4-3 to Saffron Walden despite two goals from Rhys Thorpe and one from Jordan Brown.

Newly-formed Eynesbury Rovers won 8-3 against Stevenage Town thanks to five from Tom Fletcher, two from Josh Taylor and one for Connor Cahalene-Toon.

Little Paxton lost 3-0 against Priory but were unlucky not to find the net.

Huntingdon Rowdies won 5-1 against Warboys with two goals each from Emmanual Machaya and Callum Brown and one for George Smith - Zak Shaw scored the Warboys consolation.

Under 12s

PRIORY Parkside E ran out 12-0 winners against Over Sport winning 12-0 thanks to strikes from Harry Lindsell, Alessandro Capasso, Shawn Maumbe, Matthew Allen, Eliot Rae-Jallal and Bradley Sergeant.

Brampton Spartans visited Staploe and Duloe and returned with a good win. Ryan Bolger netted twice to give them a half time lead and late goals from Farris Alston and Marcus Kenmir sealed the 4-1 victory.

A Bradley Smith double was not enough for St Ives Rangers B, who went down 5-2 against Chatteris.

Priory Parkside hit 10 past Chatteris without reply. There were six for Ben Gibbins, a brace for Lee Adams, one for Tom Newton and an own goal.

St Neots crashed to an 8-4 defeat at Letchworth despite three goals from Lewis Davis and one from Samuel Pritchard.

Aztec inflicted a 4-0 defeat on Godmanchester, who had chances but just could not find their range.

A visit to NST Strikers resulted in a 4-2 defeat for Bluntisham Blasters despite goals from George Davies and Dominic Gowland.

Eaton Socon visited Plantation and recorded a 14-1 win. Rhys Harvey led the way with five goals, Jamie Barker and Ollie Broome hit four apiece and Thomas Rowlands scored his first ever goal to complete the rout.

Ramsey's visit to West Wratting resulted in a 4-2 defeat despite Gagge Webb and Liam Parish netting.

A GOAL from Jacob Tose could not stop his Priory side going down 2-1 to Cherry Hinton.

Alconbury won 4-2 at Chatteris thanks to Lawrence Francis, Tom Hughes, Jack Trolove and Danny Duckworth.

Godmanchester won 8-2 against Somersham thanks to a Tommy Stevens hat-trick, two each for Trafford Hudson and Jack Goodhall and another for Alan Owen.

Ramsey B went down 10-2 to a strong Godmanchester C side despite goals from Tom George and Antonio Fiore - Toby Pleasants hit four for Doggy and there were hat-tricks for Jake Hays and Joseph Cuttmull.

SOMERSHAM B made it a winning start with a 4-1 success against Aztec Juniors. Liam Smith smashed in a brace, with Luke Beardsley and Michael Trewick adding to the Aztec woes.

Priory Parkside A and Fulbourn Falcons shared six goals, with Sam Elias, Liam Nicholson and Adam James netting for Priory.

Needingworth B played out a 2-2 draw with Haverhill - the goals came from Dan Enzer and Joel Lask.

Huntingdon Rowdies put in a great team display to beat a good Priory side 2-1. The goals came from Matt Gaynor and Adam Naylor

Under 16s

AFTER falling a goal behind, Alconbury rallied to hammer Haverhill 7-1. Dan Gentile and Ollie Butler helped themselves to a brace each and Callum Baker, Liam Smith and John Lindop all made the scoresheet.

St Ives Rangers B saw them win 6-2 at NST Strikers. Rangers' goals came from Michael Keeley, Ryan Johnson, Addison Mallon, Stewart Bridge and two from Liam McDonald.

Girls Football

BUCKDEN U14 Girls had a disappointing start to the new season, losing 2-0 in a pre-season friendly against AFC Stevenage. Both goals were conceded in the first half and were the result of sloppy defending.
