A TREBLE from Adam Hunt inspired Goddy U10s to a resounding 10-0 win over their battling Stukeley Meadows counterparts.
Sam Burroughes helped himself to a couple while Harris Lacey, Ollie Pocklington, Oscar Bryden, Ewan McCulloch and Max Gordon – netting his first ever goal for the club – completed the scoring.
Rowan Chapman netted the sole consolation as Goddy U11 suffered a 7-1 defeat at the hands of Newmarket A.
It was all a far cry from the last time the two sides met back in November when Goddy ran out 11-0 winners.
Elsewhere, Rovers’ 10-man U14 A side saw off Priory Parkside 5-2 thanks to goals from Sean Olley (2), Eric Nyathi, Elkanah Sibanda and Danny Mulgrew.
At U16 level, Goddy B came from behind to edge out battling Bottisham 3-2.
Callum Parker, Ben Abthorpe and a Tom Hodgson penalty helped secured maximum points for Goddy.
A slow start turned into a sorry defeat for Rovers U12s as they lost 6-0 at home against Castle Camps.
HARRY Cox and Peter Kerly both bagged a brace as Meadows U12s got back to winning ways with a convincing 7-1 victory at Benwick.
Jack Jenkins, Ben Witten and Alex Rankine were also on target.
JADEN Rogers’ hat-trick set Hemingford U10s on their way to a 6-1 win at Little Paxton.
The visitors shot out of the blocks and were ahead early on courtesy of an own goal.
Kieran Weston added a second before half time, and Lewis Brown found the net in the second half before Rogers’ stole the show.
PRIORY U13 A enjoyed a 4-0 home win against Riverside Rovers which was secured thanks to two goals apiece from Jordan Brown and Don Mason.
But there was a disappointing start to 2011 for Priory U12 who went down 8-0 against St Ives.
However there was better luck for the U16s who eased to a comfortable 8-2 success against Little Paxton.
Liam Dawson scored four to take his season goal tally to 20, while there were also notable contributions from Harry Joyce and Jordan Forshaw, who both scored twice.
It was honours even for Priory Park H U10 as they shared a 2-2 draw against Buckden Whites.
Given that this was only their third game of the season, Park were rusty and fell behind.
But they responded with an Isaac Dunn leveller and, despite slipping behind again, Alex Harris ensured that battling Priory earned a draw.
There was defeat though for Priory Girls U13s as they went down 5-2 against opponents Bishop’s Stortford Girls Youth.
Hannah Winfield and Karli Smith scored for Priory who had led twice before eventually going down.
ROWDIES U13s battled back from 3-1 down before eventually seeing off Burwell Tigers 7-3.
The hosts looked rusty early on having not played for nearly two months and found themselves on the back foot.
But they rallied back to level it up 3-3 at the interval and cut loose in the second half. Nathan Germain (4), Connor Lewis (2) and Nathan Dawson all had their shooting boots on.
Rowdies U10s were on top form as they saw off the challenge of Warboys 8-2. Freddie Francis and Alfie Dear helped themselves to four goals apiece.
Meanwhile the U7s beat Ramsey 5-0 thanks to goals from Thomas Garcia (2), Henry Smith, Tommy Dear and Ben Floto.
In the U16 age group, Rowdies defeated Brampton Spartans 6-1.
Joe Bennett scored twice while there were also goals for Pharris Jude, Harvey Phillips, Geo Monta, with an own goal completing the scorers.
There was a five-star showing from Rowdies U11 as they beat March 5-1.
Joseph Brown’s hat-trick paved the way for victory with Liam Zoric and an own goal making up the scorers.
KC Cougars U15s returned to winning ways with a deserved 6-1 victory against a hard working Eynesbury Rovers outfit.
Sam Findlay opened the scoring, Jack Bowen added a couple more before Josh Hayes completed the scoring with a penalty to complete his hat-trick.
VISITORS Buckden U10s got the better of Somersham in a high-scoring encounter, running out 9-3 winners.
Nathan Shorrock (4), Chris Davenport, Sam Reynolds, Joseph Dobos, James Titley and Max Buckingham banged in the goals for Buckden.
JP Nelson and Dominic Brown (2) replied in consolation for the hosts.
Buckden Juniors U10 White drew 2-2 with Priory Parkside U10 H in a narrow contest. Joe Brooks scored twice for Buckden
NEEDINGWORTH U11 smashed home 13 goals and conceded just once in reply against Staploe & Duloe.
Benjamin Casey (7), Josh Smith (3), Ryan Batsford, Joe Riggs and an own goal made up the scorers.
The U8s, meanwhile, put in a fantastic performance to earn a 7-1 victory over Stukeley. Ben Turnball (3), Zac Hope and Brayden Cobb all had their shooting boots on.
ALCONBURY U12 Girls went down to a narrow defeat against their Barhill Rovers counterparts.
Having gone two goals behind, Alconbury staged a second-half recovery and levelled thanks to Laura Oldfield’s double before a late winner denied them.
There was better luck though for Reds U9 who beat the Blues 5-1 in their derby match.
George Bush (2), Thomas Martin (2) and Oliver Bravo-Escos scored for Reds with Jack Wyles netting for Blues.
At U10, Alconbury Blue picked up a 2-0 victory at Huntingdon Rowdies K with Jacob Pack netting both goals.
Alconbury Red U10 beat Sawtry 5-1 thanks to goals from Max Harding, Max Hawthorne, Ross Mackie, Jake Connelly and Kyle Kirschner.
Elsewhere the U16s returned to action in style by edging out Farcet United Youth 6-4 in a 10-goal thriller.
Star man Tom Hughes led the way with a hat-trick and there was a goal apiece for Danny Duckworth, James Petts and Chris Lawrence.
LACKLUSTRE Spartans U12s went down to a heavy 9-1 loss at Little Paxton. Arthur Dunn netted a penalty in consolation for Brampton.
Brampton U11s, meanwhile, were victorious, as a goal in each half saw them win 2-0 against a spirited and determined St Ives Rangers outfit
Callum Taylor netted Spartans’ opener before Will Brackley rounded things off and secured victory.
A GARY Evans goal could not save St Neots Town Youth Blues U11 from a 3-1 reverse at FC Comets.
At U12 level, Neots thrashed Letchworth GCE 4-0 with Josh Unwin, Alex O’Hara, Thomas Payne and Sam Cartwright taking the plaudits.
RANGERS U12 A put eight past Priory Parkside without reply.
The visitors netted four times in each half with Christian Wiggins-Browne, Adam Roberts (3), Callum McDuffus, Elliott Harris (2) and Matthew Wright on target.
A THRILLING contest resulted in honours even as Fenstanton Youth drew 6-6 with Warboys Colts Wizards in their U8 contest.
Two goals from Ryan Bullard, along with a four-goal salvo from Danny Carrigan were the highlights for Fenny.
LIAM Carrigan scored for Ramsey U11s in their 4-1 defeat at Taversham.
Connor Beaumont bagged himself four goals as Ramsey U13 beat Priory B 4-1 while the U15s beat West Wratting 3-2, with Jake Temple (2) and Tom Russell on target.
The U16s were held to a 2-2 draw by Balsham, as Ollie Wright bagged a brace.
