ST IVES Rangers U12A put Spartak 78 to the sword in a fine display of football that resulted in a 6-0 win. James Atherton and Harry Sivri netted a brace apiece with Scott Findlay and Scott Pepper also on the mark.

U8

ST NEOTS completed a successful double header against Hormead Hares, recording 2-1 and 3-1 wins. It took two late goals from Owen Dunnett and James Parker to pinch the win in game one whilst in game two Lewis Smith, Jamie Watson and an own goal saw the Hares on the run as the Saints won from a goal down. Great defensive work by James Dean and George Grant was the cornerstone of a good display by Brampton against Bluntisham. Brampton goals came from Jordan Locke with two, George Grant and Marcus Read.

U9

ST NEOTS played two games at home against Knebworth. They took an early lead in the first game through Joe Gore but were 2-1 down at half-time. Knebworth scored two more goals before Ruben Rai scored a header late in the game to make the final score 4-2. In the second game there were some great saves by Aeden Pearsall and some good defending by Adam Minnis, but Saints were defeated by a late goal.

Keeper Elliot Baker-Douglas pulled out all the stops to keep a clean sheet in Ramsey A's 8-0 win against Fenstanton Blue. Jamie Short scored five and Matthew Walker three in the comprehensive victory. Rams B went down 7-3 to Buckden. Joe McGuire bagged two and Sol Goodby the third.

Brampton Red eventually recorded a win against St Ives with the game finishing 5-2. William Brackley scored a hat-trick and Toby Le [CORR] and Josh Matcham finished with one apiece.

Warboys proved too strong for their neighbours Somersham Gold as they ran out 9-0 winners. Callum Robertson found his shooting boots to net a hat-trick and Ben Garbett and Liam Bullard each hit the target. There was also a brace each for Finlay Alston and Miku Noble.

Huntingdon Rowdies scored three times against Somersham Orange but still fell short as they were beaten 4-3. Rowdies' goals came via Thomas Batsford, Cody Traywick and Emily Smith.

Hemingford Blacks went on the rampage against Priory with a 9-1 away win. Hugo Chambers hit four, Luke Toates and Lucas Walker both scored two and Sam Stevenson was on hand to net one.

Little Paxton drew 1-1 with Brampton Spartans Blue after conceding an own goal. Paxton hit back with a goal from Daniel Wood.

Fenstanton Red stormed back against Alconbury to win 8-4. Felix Perez and Harry Taylor scored a brace apiece in the first half and second half strikes came from Harry Taylor who managed three more. Another goal from Blair Reid left Alconbury well beaten.

U10

RAMSEY proved too strong for Priory C with a 5-1 win. Blaize Walker-Gleeson hit a hat-trick and Jason Quilter was on target with two.

Brampton Spartans Blue dispatched Alconbury A in fine fashion, the final score 5-2. Chris Hartley completed a good hat-trick with Tom Snare adding two.

Spartans Red took on a depleted Alconbury B side and loaned them three players only to be beaten 6-2. Loanee's Archie Smith and Grady Bruce both netted against their own club and James Shaw and Martin Uy scored for the Reds.

St Neots Blue won a tight game against Stevenage Hawks 3-2. Cameron Stump headed in a great first goal and added two more as Saints nicked a win.

The Whites played the Falcons but fell to a 6-2 defeat. The Stevenage outfit had all the answers despite strikes by Connor Flint and Tommy Fairbrass. Bluntisham Red and St Ives White shared eight goals in a 4-4 draw. Joe Fishburn netted Ives first and added his second after team mates Jakob Textor and William James had both scored.

U11

PRIORY Parkside A beat a spirited Godmanchester side 2-1 with strikes from Harrison Upton and Jack Hutchinson. Rovers reply came from Max Darer.

Ramsey beat Brampton Spartans 5-1. Marco Fiore and William Taylor grabbed a brace each and Rowan Abraham made it five.

Buckden Ospreys entertained Great Paxton and ran out 2-1 winners. Scott Irwin put the hosts in front before Paxton equalised. The match was decided when Jack Edwards and Luke Fennell exchanged passes which then allowed Irwin to score.

Priory Parkside B overwhelmed Bar Hill scoring seven times without reply. Rhys Thorpe led the way with four and there was a nice hat-trick for Jordan Brown.

Rowdies held Chatteris to a 2-2 draw thanks to George Smith and Emmanuel Machaya.

U12

ST IVES Rangers dominated the early parts of their game against Saffron Walden and established a 2-0 lead through Bradley Smith and Dan Davis. Walden hit back and scrambled two goals as Rangers held on to take a point.

Somersham visited Grampian Gunners but returned empty handed after a 6-2 defeat. Robbie Holland and Joseph Silk scored for Somersham.

A fine hat-trick from Thomas Groome gave Needingworth a well earned 3-1 away victory against KC Cougars.

Godmanchester Rovers A crashed in eight goals against Soham who managed five in reply. Nine first half goals saw Rovers net six times through Haydon Noble, Jamie Rutter, Elkanah Simbanda, Bradley Lucken, Jack James and Eric Nyathi. Noble netted both second half strikes to make it another hat-trick. Jordan Dover, Kai Webb and John Day all found the mark for Ramsey but Ely just edged the game to win 4-3.

St Neots must have thought it was game over as they trailed Letchworth 3-1 at the break, but in a sensational second half fight-back they finished with a 5-4 win. Samuel Pritchard scored the goal before the break and further goals came from Lewis Davis with two, Ryan Vale and a second strike for Pritchard.

U13

EIGHT goals without reply was the result of Brampton Spartans efforts when they met Ramsey. Charlie Naylor led the rush with a hat-trick, Christian Le bagged a brace and there was a goal apiece for Adam Pedlar, Ryan Barnett and Thomas Biddle. It was a good day at Gamlingay for Godmanchester Rovers. A 7-2 win was just reward for a good performance that saw Sean Olley and Josh Dawson grab doubles. Simon Zientek, Bredan Smith and Ben McConnell managed to find the target as Rovers made it four wins on the trot.

It was an enjoyable ride home for Brampton Spartans B after their 5-2 win at NST Strikers. Jake Burrill, Harrison Maggs, James Thackray, Tom Nicholls all found the net and Charlie Brazier was glowing with pride with his strike in a great performance. Brampton Spartans were happy to leave Haddenham with a 7-1 win in the League Cup. Christian Le nailed three and Levi Massie grabbed a brace. Other goals came from Adam Pedlar and Owen Dixon.

U14

HUNTINGDON Rowdies made a fruitless journey to Newmarket in the cup. A Jamie Waterworth consolation goal was all they had to show from a 3-1 defeat.

Alconbury had to thank 'keeper Jack Shepperd for a string of fine saves after they marched into the next round of the KO Cup. The 4-3 win over Waterbeach was courtesy of goals from Glyn Smith, Dom Thompson, Tom Hughes and a late Danny Duckworth strike.

Priory Parkside B stung the Histon Hornets with a 5-1 win. Christian Duddridge scored three, Kevin Neal netted his first of the season and the Hornets conceded a late own goal.

U15

SOMERSHAM were well beaten in the Hunts County Cup by Little Paxton, falling 5-2. They trailed 4-0 but Liam Smith and Matt Burroughs both found the net in the second half.

Ramsey played the better football against Newmarket taking a convincing 8-2 win. Jake Peattie hit four, Tom Heyes a hat-trick and Tee Mashonganyika the other.

There was a good win for Priory Parkside A in the Hunts Cup against Woodston Dynamo. After taking a two-goal lead through Alex Williams and Felix Woolf, the visitors hit back. Adam James restored the lead before half time and went on to complete his hat-trick in a 5-2 win.

Rowdies scored two late goals to grab a win and all three points against Ely. Joey Nicholson collected three and Adam Naylor hit the other goal to make it 4-3.

U16

ST IVES Rangers B fell at the first hurdle in the County Cup with a 2-0 defeat at Eaton Socon, both Ryan Johnson and Humzah Rashid went close to scoring.

Girls Football

BUCKDEN U14 girls hit back from a goal down to beat Garston 2-1. Jade Horsley netted an equaliser and Sarah Palmer bagged the winner as Buckden nicked the points. The U16s had much the better of the game against St Ives winning 8-1. Miquela McDonald was on form netting a hat-trick and Sophie Coulman and Angharad Carlton both scored two. There was also a first goal for Chloe Bowcutt to make the tally eight.

Alconbury U14 girls kept it tight at the back to record a clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Rowdies. The three first half goals came from Anna Radwell, Georgie Goodwin and Eilidh Murphy.
